ChatGPT for Beginners
Quick answer. ChatGPT for beginners is a free 5-module course that takes you from never used AI to confident with ChatGPT in about an hour. Start here.
This is free beginner training, and you can use it on ordinary business tasks. There is no certificate. The other free course is Claude for beginners. Together they are a short learning path: pick one tool, finish the five lessons, then decide whether you want a business system.
From never used AI to confident in one afternoon
You have heard everyone talk about AI. Now you get to actually use it, step by step, with nothing assumed. By the end of this short course you will be able to open ChatGPT, ask for things properly, work with your own documents, and get useful work done safely. No jargon, no pressure, no cost.

What you’ll learn
- Start your first conversation with ChatGPT and understand what comes back
- Ask for things in a way that gets a genuinely useful answer the first time
- Refine and correct answers instead of starting over
- Give ChatGPT your own documents and let it do the heavy lifting
- Build a safe daily habit that saves you real time

Instructions
- Choose a real task you actually need done this week (Module 1 comfort).
- Write it as a clear request: task, situation, format, and limits (Module 2).
- Refine the answer with two or three follow-ups (Module 3).
- If it involves a document, paste or upload it and work from it (Module 4).
- Give it a human check, verify any hard facts, and use it (Module 5).
Self-review checklist
- ☐ I sent a clear request with task, situation, format, and limits
- ☐ I refined the answer at least once instead of accepting the first draft
- ☐ I worked with my own document or text if the task needed it
- ☐ I read the final result and checked anything with real stakes
- ☐ I actually used the result
Bonus: Do the same task again next week. Notice how much faster it is the second time.
